Hi all,
thanks for maintaining the Inline::* modules. I have found Inline::C extremely useful
for my work on Freecell Solver ( http://fc-solve.shlomifish.org/ ), so thanks!
In any case, I have recently adopted and started to maintain Inline::Ruby. More details
can be found in the forwarded message below, and any further guidance will be appreciated.

Shlomi Fish

Hi Neil,
I'm CCing the Perl Module Authors' List to my reply.

I started maintaining Inline-Ruby at https://github.com/shlomif/Inline-Ruby . What I
have mostly done so far is get it to compile and link properly (there was a stray do_chomp()
call and other problems), and got the tests to pass. However, on test script fails the first
time you run "make test", so I'll have to investigate before I upload it on CPAN.
Some plans for the future:
1. Convert the remaining test scripts from Test.pm to Test::More.
2. Get rid of trailing space (maybe add a test).
3. Get rid of "test.pl" - possibly move it both under t/ and under the "examples" sub-directory.
4. See about fixing the bugs on rt.cpan.org.
5. Fix the problem with the first "make test".
6. Make a new release.
(Not in any order).
Regards,
Shlomi Fish

Hi Neil and Ed,
I'd like to get COMAINT for Inline::Ruby (see
https://metacpan.org/release/Inline-Ruby ) and you are
listed as its maintainers. This module has not seen a release since
2002 and currently
http://www.cpantesters.org/distro/I/Inline-Ruby.html#Inline-Ruby-0.02
I'd like to fix that and fix more bugs as I encounter them. Can you
give me a
co-maintainer status?
Regards,
Shlomi Fish
